Bath Rugby Ladies ended their enormously successful season by holding their awards evening at the Recreation ground last weekend.
The black tie event saw five players pick up awards for their part in the Ladies first ever Championship One South title and also enabled them to reflect on their meteoric rise up the women’s rugby ladder to near Premiership status.

The most hotly disputed award was the Young/ New Player of the Year award with Natasha Hunt taking the honours. Kat Southwell, who played in every match for the Ladies this season, won Club Women of the Year.

The Captains Award went to Jane Youdan who has been at the helm for the side over the past two years as the club has won back to back league titles. Tamara Johnson, who up until her injury in February had played outstandingly well, won the Coaches Player of the Year Award. Finally the Players Player Award went to second row Becky Thompson.
