On an afternoon of high drama, the eagerly anticipated encounter between bitter rivals Bath and Gloucester at Kingsholm, resulted in less tries than pundits expected. Yet, the riveting action kept the fans on the edge of their seats as Bath’s hard fought battle failed to clinch the victory required for a home semi final, as Gloucester became narrow victors with a final score of 8 – 6 to Gloucester.
After a great weekend’s rugby and fantastic results, Bath is currently sitting a strong second in the league table and was the first team to guarantee our place in the Guinness Premiership Semi Finals. If we win at Kingsholm this coming weekend then we should secure a home draw in the Semi Final - which would be played at the Rec the weekend of 16/17/18 May. All Season Ticket Holders have been mailed a priority application form for tickets for this potential home Semi Final and the potential Final. If you are a full Season Ticket Holder and have not received your application form by the middle of this week please email the Ticket Office.
This season Bath Rugby launched our official Bath Rugby Members Club. The initiative was aimed at those loyal supporters who are unable to commit to our traditional season ticket memberships. As a part of the membership package we asked local restaurants and companies to get involved with Bath Rugby by offering our new members a special rate at their restaurant/business in return for advertising via our membership club. This year we are aiming to make this deal even bigger and better and we want YOU to ‘Be a Part of It’!
