Bath Rugby have signed Academy fly-half Luke Cozens on a two-year deal, as the club continues to invest in players of the future.
The 20-year-old has been working hard to develop his rugby both with Bath United and local South West One club Cleve, and his excellent progress was endorsed by his first appearances in an England shirt during the recent U21 6 Nations, first as a replacement against France, and then as the starting number ten against Wales, where his three penalties and a conversion helped secure a draw.

Cozens said: “I have had a good year. It started slowly but lately it’s all come together and I’m looking forward to the future. The hard work starts now really.”

Frank Butler, the Academy Manager, said: “Luke is a local lad who has come through from Avon Youth, and shown that hard work can get you there. We are looking forward to working with him to help him improve further over the coming years.”
