After victory over Australia on Saturday, Bath Rugby lock Scott Hobson is on a high and is looking forward to England U20s Cardiff semi-final against South Africa tonight in the IRB Junior World Championships (kick-off 9.10pm).
“We are on a high at the minute,” said Hobson. “If we can get a good result against South Africa then anything is possible, we will be in the final and will hopefully get some good support from English fans who have come across the bridge.”

England’s match against Australia was a tight affair and at times the game could have gone either way, but the England side held out in the end to continue an excellent season which has seen them crowned Grand Slam champions and now Junior World Championship semi-finalists.

“Australia are one of the best teams in the competition so to get a win against them was great. I think we thoroughly deserved it. We dominated them in the set-piece and it was a just result in the end.”

Hobson has been named on the bench alongside Bath prop Billy Moss. Meanwhile Nathan Catt continues his excellent championship form and retains his place in the front row.
