Short bursts through Albi defence

Bath Squad to Face Albi
14 December 2007, 11:05 am
After an impressive win in terrible weather conditions last Friday night, Bath Rugby announce the team to once again face Albi this Saturday (kick off 2:15pm) at The Rec.
Making his first return to the club after the World Cup, Eliota Fuimano-Sapolu starts at fly half, with Steve Meehan anticipating a strong performance from the Samoan. “I hope Eliota plays very well.  I think this could be a very good game for him.”

Naming Alex Crockett as the captain for the match, the Head Coach expects a good game from the outside centre, alongside Joe Maddock and Jonny Faamatuainu. “Alex Crockett comes back into the fold and I expect a good game from him as well.  Whenever he has performed he has always been very good for the squad.  Joe Maddock is another one, who now has a run under his legs, so I expect him to improve each week and Jonny Faamatuainu will start this week and I hope that given that motivation of starting again back home, we will see another eye-catching performance from him.”
